Rachel Goodyear

(b. 1978, Lancashire, UK) lives and works in Manchester. She studied at Leeds Metropolitan University and Hopwood Hall. Using familiar yet unsettling imagery, her delicate drawings and films explore dream states, folklore, and the fragile line between reality and imagination. Her work has been shown at The Drawing Center, NY; The Whitworth, Manchester; and Tate Liverpool, and is held in collections including the V&A, London and the Rijksmuseum, Amsterdam.
