Max Boyla

(b. 1991, Edinburgh, UK) is a Scottish artist based in London. He graduated from the Royal Academy Schools in 2023. Boyla’s practice explores the boundaries between illusion and reality, employing materials like satin—a petroleum-derived fabric—to create abstract works that reflect on ecological themes and contemporary disillusionment.
